In 1983, the capital group set up a dedicated service center for shareholders of "American funds"; in 1986, in response to the world bank's request to help institutional investors invest in developing countries, the capital group launched an emerging market growth fund, which was the first of its kind; in 1987, the "us fund" was ranked 1 million shareholder.

In 1992, capital group launched the first private equity fund, capital international private equity fund, and became an important investor in the field of private equity in emerging markets in recent years.


In 2012, the capital group initiated the establishment of eight "fund funds" in the "US fund" portfolio; in 2015, the exclusive bookkeeping platform of "US fund" exceeded 1 million participants; in 2016, "US fund" introduced three new bond funds.
